World Bank Poll on Public Attitudes Towards Climate Change

In December 2009, the World Bank released a report on a fifteen nation study regarding public opinion on climate change, especially in developing countries. The countries polled included China, India, Japan, Russia, and the United States, all of which have COMPON project teams studying the country as well. One notable result of the poll is that in all countries, the majority of respondents stated that their country "does have a responsibility to take steps to deal with climate change". In most countries, over 80 or 90% of respondents agreed with this statement.
